Use an LDAP or Microsoft® Active Directory server to control access to the repository. Synchronize KnowledgeTree user group membership with Active Directory. All accesses to the service are encrypted with SSL.

Document Auditing and Electronic Signatures

View audit trails of all document activities, including document version transactions, downloads, emails and changes to document properties. If enabled, users' comments for document modifications will be visible in the audit trial. Support regulatory compliance initiatives with electronic signatures, which if enabled, require users to re-authenticate for all document activities that result in a document modification.

Scanning and Capture

Populate the document repository using your scanner, fax application and other third-party applications using KnowledgeTree’s Hot Folders. Use best of breed document capture technology such as Kofax® Capture and CAPSYS Capture to add documents that contain form, bar code and other OCR’d content.
